Founder and owner Rafael Rom\u00e1n made the official announcement during the company\u2019s fifth anniversary celebration, held earlier this July in Kissimmee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEvery FL Bakery recipe honors our Puerto Rican roots and the deep love we feel for our homeland,\u201d said Rafael Rom\u00e1n, founder and president of FL Bakery. \u201cThe opening of FL Bakery and FL Bakery Factory &amp; Caf\u00e9 in Puerto Rico marks a historic milestone for our company. Although our concept was born on the island, returning feels like coming home\u2014as if we\u2019re closing a cycle. In reality, this is just the beginning. This expansion represents a new phase of growth, allowing us to consolidate our brand by leveraging the experience we\u2019ve gained over the past 13 years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expansion includes a 6,300-square-foot FL Bakery in Aguadilla, expected to create 40 jobs, and a 14,000-square-foot FL Bakery Factory &amp; Caf\u00e9 in Camuy, which will employ 60 people. The Camuy location will serve as a central hub for the preparation and distribution of baked goods across Rom\u00e1n\u2019s network of bakeries throughout the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFL Bakery seeks to fuse the traditional charm of Puerto Rican baking with a modern caf\u00e9 atmosphere,\u201d added Rom\u00e1n. \u201cOur exposure to different cultures in the U.S. has shown us that it\u2019s possible to strike a balance\u2014staying true to our roots while embracing innovation. FL Bakery Puerto Rico is a blend of cherished family traditions and modern flair.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In just five years in Florida, FL Bakery has become a community favorite for its traditional baking methods, quality products, and exceptional customer service. Signature offerings include Pan Sobao, coffee brewed from beans harvested in the mountains of Puerto Rico, the Pastrami sandwich, and the ever-popular Dubai Chocolate Frozen Coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FL Bakery currently operates three locations in Central Florida:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FL Bakery Kissimmee \u2013 8,000 sq. ft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FL Bakery Orlando \u2013 4,000 sq. ft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FL Bakery Factory &amp; Caf\u00e9 in St. Cloud \u2013 9,766 sq. ft., serving as a modern production and distribution hub for hotels, restaurants, and other FL Bakery locations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The company generates approximately 200 direct jobs and 25 indirect jobs in Florida, with an economic impact of over $10 million in just five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FL Bakery\u2019s journey began in 2020 with the opening of its first location in Kissimmee, shortly after Rom\u00e1n relocated to Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the anniversary celebration, the Mayor of Kissimmee, Honorable Jackie Espinosa, officially proclaimed July 15th as \u201cFL Bakery Day\u201d in Kissimmee.
